Speak Persuasively as You Think on Your Feet
This trial advocacy training course is an in-house program that includes a 60-minute lecture followed by 45-minute individual coaching sessions. An entire firm or department may attend the lecture, but there may not be enough time for all to receive an individual coaching. This program refines presentation skills in all practice areas and for all levels, from senior partners to junior associates. Advance preparation time is 15 minutes, and total time commitment per attorney is 2 hours. Day 1 includes a lecture and eight individual coaching sessions. Day 2 and subsequent days include twelve individual coaching sessions.
You may add small group sessions to this program, providing a mix of individual coachings and workshops. Three-hour workshops are limited to ten participants, who each make two or three presentations. Participants watch themselves on video with the entire group, then have the opportunity to stand up again and improve their skills.
